My Raisse Experience

Being the Math Teacher that I am, I've always placed the responsibility on English teachers to teach the reading. Gosh, I never thought I could teach reading. What I've realized about the reading challenges with people is that it's not limited to the "non-intelligent" only. Even the people with lots of aptitude aren't the best or most interested readers. So my Raisse experience has enlighten me concerning this point. But what I've come to appreciate the most @ the Raisse Study Group is each others contributions to our school. I truly acknowledge Kelly Gerth and Riley Thomas hard work too. Thanks for the positive direction you gave and encouragement to keep working and trying new strategies. Patty Spires
